The Hearing Aid Center is a second generation, family owned full-service hearing center. Phil Winters moved to the peninsula and opened the office in 1990. He had over 50 years experience in the hearing aid business and he saw thousands of lives changed through better hearing. Mr. Winters retired January 2011 after proudly serving the needs of the Peninsula for 20 years.
His daughter, Rebecca, was raised in the family business. She worked in the family office while still in high school. After marrying and raising her family, she left California to help her parents as they aged..
Rebecca received a degree from Bates Technical College, Tacoma, in Hearing Instrument Science in June 2010. She is licensed to perform hearing tests, dispense and fit hearing instruments (aids) by the State of Washington. She is a sitting Washington Hearing Society board member, as well as a member in good standing of the International Hearing Society.
